Who we are
Representation, not resale
Silver River Transformer Co. is a US company representing qualified Latin American transformer manufacturers in the American market. We represent manufacturers — we don’t buy and resell their product. You contract the factory directly, at factory pricing, and Silver River works around that contract — the qualification before it, the quoting, and the practical side of moving an order from a Latin American plant to a US site. Our compensation is a fee for the representation, not a margin: we never own the unit, so we never mark it up.
Latin America is home, not a sourcing destination.

The partnership
Silver River is a partnership of senior operators with a long track record of doing business across the Americas — from Hawaii to New York to Uruguay.
Small by design. Every deal is run by a partner — not passed to an account team.
The team
Who you’re dealing with
Six people, each accountable for one part of the transaction. No layers between you and the person responsible.
Owns every specification: turns buyer requirements into designs a plant can build, and runs the bilingual bridge between US utilities and the factory floor. A US-licensed professional engineer (PE) with utility power-systems experience — electrical engineer by training.
Owns the numbers: market data, benchmarks and the models under every quote. Fifteen years in corporate finance — private equity, restructuring at Alvarez & Marsal, CFO of an industrial company, and his own financial-management practice since.
Owns the buyer side: pipeline, pricing conversations and the path from first call to signed order. Twenty years building operations across the Americas — Head of Real Estate for WeWork Latin America, today CEO of a New York coworking company, with a first career at HSBC and BNY Mellon.
Owns the border: freight, customs, export compliance and everything between a factory gate and a US delivery site. Decades moving goods across global markets, with extensive experience in the US.
Owns Mexico — vendor qualification and the plant relationships on the ground. Two decades running manufacturing operations in the country — plant management, quality systems and lean improvement at global technology companies; industrial engineer by training.
Leads the partnership and owns the factory network — qualification, capacity and the manufacturer relationships the model rests on. A career running companies across the Americas — operator, CFO and M&A, from build-out to exit.
